Preeti Jhangiani - someone tell her that gold and silver do not mix!
This is one of those cases of great sari, decent blouse, ok jewelry - but really bad together! The sari is a transparent black georgette with a self color embossed floral motif, lightly outlined with jari. Normally, this would be best paired with a sleek and simple black halter neck blouse. The gold blouse is a slightly unusual choice but ok. However, the heavy silver jewelry is a total no no with this sari. First of all gold with silver - Preeti what were you thinking?!! Secondly, folks, real chunky accessories with lightweight saris is in general a bad idea. The solid look of one totally clashes with the ethereal wispiness of the other. OK - time to alert the fashion police!
