Chocolate blouse for a saree? Kareena Kapoor looks delicious

What do you think of this chocolate blouse with a saree?
May be not, it will become too messy!

I love this one; a great deal of effort has gone in to making the ad and it is appreciated.
The panoply of colors, the textures, the traditions, the culture clash, all captured in 120 seconds.
Soha gets compared to mom Sharmila and for good reason. Soha herself takes great pains to look like Sharmila did in the 60s and 70s. And here she is wearing a simple blue sari with a vintage look blouse. Interestingly, half of the blouse matches the border of the sari, while the puffed sleeves are in a totally contrasting paisley print in maroon and green.
Interestingly, we found a picture of Sharmila (below) similarly peeking over her shoulder. Except that Sharmila is not wearing a sari, but a rather hot ensemble of tight hipster pants and cropped top!

Sharmila looking sexy with an attitude!

I love Nandita Das, beautiful dusky complexion, piercing eyes, sharp features and serene look!
Except that I hate this ensemble. The heavy jewelry takes so much out of the impact of her beautiful face. The jewelry might be real 24 Ct gold, but it makes her look artificial! Sigh…
Now compare this to a picture of Nandiata on May 14, 2005 at Cannes.

Now this is the Nandiata that I love!
I saw Nandita Das a little over a year ago and chatted with her about her movie and I told her how much I loved her! But I wished I hadn’t met her; when I saw her, she was wearing some bohemian clothing and alas, she wasn’t the person I romanticized about.
But I don’t want to let reality interfere with the creations of new dreams with the help of fashion design.

She does look so much better in Saree then in tight jeans!
Coordinated Silver accessories, jewelry and the the blouse is very stunning.

Not one of her best pictures, but it has some authenticity to it. The design is a bit dated but I am attracted to it because of its sheer simplicity! I do genuinely believe that simplicity never goes out of style.
