Katrina Kaif looks hot in a red benarasi silk sari paired with a sexy cut away halter look blouse.

Love this interesting saree! It has simplicity and yet it it has richness and opulence radiating out. The blue booties on a black saree add just enough color to not have the blue border and pallu feel stark.

The color is more of a lavender than lilac, but that doesn’t help Vida, the former Miss Afghanistan.

Why doesn’t it work? The “gold” part of the saree border and saree design is not as prominent and the gold in the blouse is too stark - there is a gold mismatch here.

And what’s with those orange bangles?

I have heard of stories where people talked about transparent sarees made in 1800’s, where the fabric was so sheer that the saree can be passed through the eye of the needle.

OK, the fabric here is not that sheer; but it is transparent for sure.

I would have really liked this saree, except for the red and blue blouse cups. I don’t know what to make of that.

For a minute, I thought it was the lighting that made the cups look different color but I see that it is by design; and I just hate it. What a shame! this could have been the most elegant of sarees!

Just wanted to point out the subtle texture that has been added to the blouse.
