Yellow green or lime green saree from the designer Shaina NC

Gorgeous saree isn’t it?
This design of plain saree, sparkling border on the pallu and matching sparkling blouse is very much in vogue these days. Imagine this saree in pink and it will remind you of recent showing by Katrina Kaif.
OK, who can tell me what shade of green is this saree?
It’s either yellow-green of lime green.
Here are all the different shades of green - more shades then you can shake a stick at!

saree is 5000 yrs old, blouse is barely 150 yrs old : Nisha Kothari in a blouseless saree
When I started this site, I promised myself that I will never ever post pictures of “wet sarees”; so cliché, so odd!
But this one is different; yes, it is made wet so it will cling to the body and reveal more; yes, it is draped in such a way to maximize flesh exposure, but the drape is so darn interesting!

Knowing that till (relatively) recently, women did not wear a blouse, adds certain historical recreation to this saree.
