saree pinned to the strap of the halter blouse

What I liked here was the pinning of the saree on the strap of the halter blouse.
I guess sometimes that’s all the anchor you have to hold the saree.
In an ideal situation, one wouldn’t need to pin anything but think about it, you are trying to create magic from six yards of fabric without a single stitch, it is hard!
Beautiful glowing picture!
Sharmila Tagore, and daughter Soha Ali Khan in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa
Sharmila Tagore, and daughter Soha Ali Khan took part in the show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa – the Indian version of Dancing with the Stars. Soha’s get up is reminiscent of Sharmila in the 60s. The blue sari and mismatched purple earrings don’t quite live up to Mama Sharmila’s aura of style, though. Come to think of it, Sharmila looks less like her prior incarnation than her daughter does. Sharmila’s up to date coif matched with a sophisticated orange chiffon looks more “hip” and gets the bigger thumbs-up from us.

peace not war! a message saree

Love this one.
A saree always has a message, this one has a clear and strong one!
