Bikini saree blouse - there is a place for it but not sure it is next to this saree!
Bikini blouses are great, when they “go” with the saree. A playful saree with spring colors would naturally lend itself to a bikini blouse. But having a dark, rich, textured saree with a bikini blouse looks a little odd to me.
Showing a little skin is great, but the key word here is “little”.

This is a classic blouse design - no complicated cuts, no complex patterns, simple functional garment.
I like this one less than I liked the earlier saree of Gaurav Gupta.
As I said, I don’t mind pre-made, pre stitched or automatic sarees; but do they have to look that way so manifestly and so obviously?
We attended a beauty pageant not too long ago and the women with pre-made saree just didn’t look so good.
I am not purist about this, I am really not! but I am all about grace and poise and beauty and anything that detracts from it, I am against it.
Interesting geometric design, by interesting I mean, I don’t like it but I am not going to offend the designer by saying something unpleasant.
