René Magritte inspired Satya Paul Saree Best of 2007 continues
I love the saree, but if I were to confess, I think I would fall in love with a woman who chooses to wear this saree. And thats the highest compliment I can pay to a saree.
René Magritte, a Belgian surrealist artist was well known for a number of witty and amusing images, including this one of a rose.

Another painting she is famous for is a picture of a pipe with a caption which reads “this is not a pipe”, (Ceci n’est pas une pipe’) I know you have seen that one.
Here comes Satya Paul team and they combine it all in to a gorgeous white saree with a rose colored border and rose inspired blouse with a huge rose motif on the pallu and to top it all off, there is a caption under the rose and guess what does it say?
“This is not a rose”
This is awesome. It didn’t make it in my list of top 5 sarees, but it should have.

Since it is so pretty, it deserves a second picture. Here is Krishna Somani.
